Homework Club
Our Homework Club is offered between the hours of 3:45pm to 5:45 pm. The Club is open to both St. Padre Pio Academy students and students from surrounding schools. The Homework Club is facilitated by our teachers. Our primary aim is to assist students with homework and help them complete assignments, projects and study for tests. All students receive a Homework Portfolio and Communication Log that is filled out by our teachers before each student leaves. After finishing assigned homework, our teachers provide supplemental language arts and mathematics study skills worksheets. All extra work is based on Ontario Curriculum Standards. Our worksheets are designed to build real understanding and motivation, not just more busywork. Students that complete both their homework and our supplemental work are accompanied to the gymnasium where they can play soccer, basketball or hockey.

One on One Tutoring
St. Padre Pio Academy serves all ages, pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Tutoring is available in all core subjects - reading, mathematics, science, history - as well as study skills, foreign languages, standardized test prep, assessment testing such as CAT and much more. Our tutors are specialists in specific areas of instruction and undergo training in Ontario Curriculum Standards, Evaluation , and Assessment. Please phone (905) 265-9115 for rates.
